The Dakota Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 45-28 to Polo. Dakota has struggled against Polo recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Dakota lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Madison Binder, who scored three points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Dakota has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Polo, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dakota will take on Pecatonica at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Polo, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Milledgeville at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Milledgeville has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 6.
