Basketball Recap: Southeast Polk Comes Up Short

Southeast Polk lost against Dowling Catholic back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Southeast Polk Rams lost 64-44 to the Dowling Catholic Maroons.

Southeast Polk's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Dowling Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Southeast Polk wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-42 defeat against Valley on the 7th. As for Dowling Catholic, they will face off against Urbandale at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Dowling Catholic is facing Urbandale at the right time seeing as Urbandale is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
