Volleyball Game Preview: Desert Mirage RAMS vs. Cathedral City Lions

The Desert Mirage RAMS will take on the Cathedral City Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Mirage has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 6.

On Thursday, Desert Mirage didn't have quite enough to beat Desert Hot Springs and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Cathedral City suffered their biggest defeat since August 26th on Thursday. They came up short against Banning, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Lions seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

While Cathedral City was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-23.

Cathedral City's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Desert Mirage, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.
