Basketball Recap: Gentry Takes a Loss

Gentry lost against Huntsville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gentry Pioneers took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huntsville Eagles.

Gentry has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Huntsville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gentry has already played their next contest (against Prairie Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Huntsville will face off against Shiloh Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Huntsville has won six straight at home, while Shiloh Christian won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
