Soccer Recap: Westmoreland Takes a Loss

Westmoreland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Christian Community Colts. That's two games in a row now that Westmoreland have lost by just one goal.

Westmoreland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Christian Community, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westmoreland will challenge Cannon County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Community, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ezell-Harding Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 24th.
