Basketball Recap: Castle Park Comes Up Short

Castle Park lost against Valhalla back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The contest between the Castle Park Trojans and the Valhalla Norsemen didn't end well, with the Castle Park Trojans falling 67-48.

Valhalla found their leader in freshman Andrew Mikhail, who went 8 of 12 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points and six boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mikhail has scored all season. Another player making a difference was SAMEER MONQAD, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Castle Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Valhalla, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.

Castle Park has already played their next matchup, a 51-46 defeat against Chula Vista on the 5th. As for Valhalla, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-43 win against Grossmont on the 4th.
