Softball Recap: Lexington's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After a string of three wins, Lexington's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 11-6 to the Camden Central Lions. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Carly Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kk Simko, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 28-13-2. As for Camden Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Lexington nor Camden Central have any future games scheduled.
