Baseball Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Frankton Eagles.

Taylor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Boothby, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Boothby's first of the season.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Frankton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Taylor didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-4 defeat against Sheridan on the 13th. As for Frankton, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Madison-Grant on the 13th.
