Football Recap: Bryan Comes Up Short

If Bryan was riding high fresh off their 48-7 takedown of Swanton last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Bears were outmatched by the Wauseon Indians and fell 49-14. The Golden Bears haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Wauseon, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Bryan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Delta at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Wauseon, they will challenge Liberty Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
