Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for North Brunswick

After losing to Timothy Christian the last time they met, North Brunswick decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The North Brunswick North Brunswick Raiders walked away with a 54-45 victory over Timothy Christian on Saturday. The win was all the more spectacular given the North Brunswick Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 295th, while Timothy Christian are ranked 143rd).

North Brunswick's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12. As for Timothy Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

North Brunswick will challenge South Plainfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Timothy Christian has already played their next game (against North Plainfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
