Volleyball Recap: Lovelady Comes Up Short

Lovelady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Leon Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Lovelady's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Leon, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

Lovelady will be playing at home against Iola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leon, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Burton at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th.
