Newark extended their postseason success on Thursday against Serena. They walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Huskers. Winning may never get old, but the Norsemen sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
 Leading Newark to victory were  Ella Bromeland and  Taylor Jeffers.  Bromeland  had nine assists and seven  digs, while  Jeffers  had 18  assists and eight  digs. Jeffers has been hot for a while, having  posted 12 or more  assists the last nine times she's  played.  Cayla Pottinger also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Newark's victory bumped their record up to 32-4. As for Serena,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three matches  and leaves them with a 24-12-1 record.
As of now, neither Newark nor the Huskers have any future games scheduled.
