Baseball Recap: Broad Run Comes Up Short

Broad Run had taken Loudoun Valley down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Spartans lost 8-1 to the Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Broad Run and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Loudoun Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Coming up, Broad Run will face off against Stone Bridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loudoun Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Musselman at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
