The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Millard has struggled recently with 24 defeats in a row, while Rowland Hall will arrive with three straight victories.
Last Friday, Millard came up short against Kanab and fell 65-54. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Millard in their matchups with Kanab: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, Rowland Hall earned a 62-53 victory over Draper APA on Friday.
Rowland Hall's success was spearheaded by the efforts of William Chin, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 19 rebounds, and Yeshi Tsering, who scored 22 points along with four steals. Tsering is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Landen Brady was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Millard dropped their record down to 0-23 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Rowland Hall, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
