Softball Recap: Hollidaysburg Comes Up Short

Hollidaysburg came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-1 to the Central Mountain Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Tigers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

Hollidaysburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Central Mountain, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Hollidaysburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Mountain, they will face off against DuBois at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Beavers have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
