Football Recap: Del Norte Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Skyline two weeks ago, Del Norte came back down to earth. The Warriors took a hard 31-14 fall against the Fortuna Huskies on Friday. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kanyon Starkey threw for 111 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Del Norte's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Fortuna, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Del Norte will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Eureka at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Loggers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fortuna, they are taking a road trip to challenge St. Bernard's at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
