Volleyball Recap: Elk Point-Jefferson Takes a Loss

Elk Point-Jefferson was the 3-0 winner over Tri-Valley when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Huskies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Mustangs since Saturday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Elk Point-Jefferson sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-19, 23-25, 25-23.

Elk Point-Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Tri-Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Elk Point-Jefferson has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Dakota Valley on the 18th. Hopefully Tri-Valley paid attention to the Huskies' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
