The Greenbrier Bobcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. Everything went their way against Jo Byrns as Greenbrier made off with a 82-57 win. The win was familiar territory for Greenbrier who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Nolan Carson, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Greenbrier's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Castleman, who scored 18 points.
Greenbrier is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Jo Byrns, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Greenbrier is on the road again on December 28th and play against Christian Community at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th. Christian Community knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Greenbrier likes a good challenge.
