Football Game Recap: Sunnyside Christian vs. St. John-Endicott

Sunnyside Christian put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past St. John-Endicott 58-8. The success made it back-to-back wins for Sunnyside Christian.

Sunnyside Christian started the matchup off right with 58 first-half points. Meanwhile, St. John-Endicott couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 58-0 heading into the break. Sunnyside Christian were outperformed in the second half 0-8 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win bumped their record up to 3-1. The loss started St. John-Endicott out at 0-1 for the season.

Next week Sunnyside Christian take on Pomeroy at Pomeroy High School at 7:00 PM. Sunnyside Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Pomeroy will be stumbling in from a defeat. St. John-Endicott will be staying on the road, facing off against Touchet. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
