Football Recap: Grace Prep's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

If Grace Prep was feeling good fresh off their 56-13 takedown of Bishop Dunne last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions lost 34-14 to the Hyde Park Panthers on Friday. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Although Grace Prep took the loss, they still got scores from David Jergenson and Jesse Zimmerman.

Hyde Park got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brenden Bartholomew out in front who rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Crawford Moffitt, who threw for 274 yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grace Prep fell to 4-1. As for Hyde Park, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Grace Prep has already played their next matchup, a 42-21 win against Brentwood Christian on the 11th. As for Hyde Park, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 24-14 victory against Brook Hill on the 10th.
