Volleyball Recap: Rocori Takes a Loss

Rocori was the 2-0 winner over North Branch when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Friday.

Rocori was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Rocori saw an underclassman step up: freshman Eliett Satterstrom had three digs and one block.

Rocori now has a losing record of 5-6. As for North Branch, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

Rocori didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Benilde-St. Margaret's on the 13th. As for North Branch, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against St. Peter on the 13th.
