Pine City is 10-0 against Aitkin since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pine City Dragons are taking a road trip to square off against the Aitkin Gobblers at 7:00 p.m. Aitkin took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Pine City, who comes in off a win.

Pine City played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They enjoyed a cozy 78-64 win over Rush City. The Dragons didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Aitkin was beaten by Mora 81-36 on Tuesday. The Gobblers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Aitkin's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Pine City, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

Pine City strolled past Aitkin in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 74-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pine City since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
