Basketball Game Preview: Lisbon Lions vs. North Linn Lynx

Lisbon is 1-9 against North Linn since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lisbon Lions will host the North Linn Lynx at 8:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Lisbon sitting on seven straight victories and North Linn on three.

Last Friday, Lisbon strolled past Edgewood-Colesburg with points to spare, taking the game 73-58.

Meanwhile, North Linn didn't have too much trouble with Prince of Peace Prep on Friday as they won 72-54.

North Linn pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.2 points. As for Lisbon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Lisbon suffered a grim 75-50 defeat to North Linn in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. Can Lisbon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
