Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Hillcrest has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Memphis East Mustangs. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Hillcrest couldn't quite close it out.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Memphis East, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2-2.

As of now, neither Hillcrest nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
