Basketball Recap: Forrest County Agricultural Beats Mccomb for Their Fifth Straight Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Forrest County Agricultural walked away with it. They came out on top against the McComb Tigers by a score of 65-52 on Tuesday. Given the Aggies' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Tigers are ranked 224th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the fifth in a row for Forrest County Agricultural, bringing their record for this year to 20-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for McComb, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Looking ahead, Forrest County Agricultural will take on Quitman at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
