Volleyball Recap: Olpe Extends Winning Streak to Three

Olpe had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Northern Heights Wildcats by a score of 2-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Eagles' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Olpe was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10.

Lilly Skalsky paced Olpe's offense, picking up ten kills. Skalsky got some help from Kayla Steinke and her 12 assists. Skalsky was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Olpe's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Northern Heights, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-14.

Olpe has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Lebo on the 11th. As for Northern Heights, they will venture away from home to challenge Hartford on Tuesday.
