Basketball Recap: Richmond Christian Warriors vs. The Carmel School Wildcats
The Richmond Christian Warriors can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They breezed by The Carmel School on the road to the tune of 75-22. Richmond Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Richmond Christian was led to victory by Kailah Carter and Morgan Trimble. Carter dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds, while Trimble scored 31 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trimble has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jillian Gravatt, who scored eight points along with five steals.
Richmond Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for The Carmel School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Richmond Christian will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fredericksburg Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for The Carmel School, they will head out on the road to challenge the Royals at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
