Minerva has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 28. They fell 3-1 to the Alliance Aviators on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Minerva of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Noah Morckel, who's now up to nine this season.

Minerva's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-3. As for Alliance, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-3 record this season.

Minerva will take on New Philadelphia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alliance, they will square off against Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
