Baseball Preview: Vandalia Vandals vs. Carlinville Cavaliers
Vandalia has gone 7-2 against Carlinville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vandals will challenge the Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. Vandalia will be strutting in after a victory while Carlinville will be coming in after a defeat.
Vandalia took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Pana, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vandals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Vandals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kohnor Depew was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
