Basketball Recap: Mercer Island Takes a Loss

Mercer Island lost against Ballard back in February of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mercer Island Islanders fell to the Ballard Beavers 53-47. The Islanders just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Mercer Island now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Ballard, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Mercer Island will square off against Lake Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ballard, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ingraham at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ballard is facing Ingraham at the right time seeing as Ingraham is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
