Basketball Recap: Cross Creek Piles Up the Points Against Howard

Cross Creek had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 52 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 87-28 win over the Howard Huskies. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Razorbacks' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Huskies are ranked 390th).

Cross Creek's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Howard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Cross Creek and Grayson will round out the year against one another at 8:30 p.m. on the 26th. The Razorbacks will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Howard, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Randolph-Clay at 6:30 p.m. on the 31st.
