Crisp Academy waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Grace Christian Academy Cougars by a score of 46-39. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

When it comes to explaining why Grace Christian Academy lost, don't look at Chloe Brogdon. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Brogdon also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sybil Lee, who posted six points and six rebounds.

The win got Crisp Academy back to even at 8-8. As for Grace Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crisp Academy will venture away from home to take on Covenant Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Grace Christian Academy Cougars challenge the Westwood Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
