Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cali Wellington and Alessandra Chamnong Lead Pinecrest Academy Cadence to Victory

Pinecrest Academy Cadence won the last time they faced Eldorado and things went their way on Monday too. The Cougars put the hurt on the Firehawks with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-13.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence was led to victory by Alessandra Chamnong and Cali Wellington. Chamnong had eight aces and four digs, while Wellington had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs Chamnong has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Pinecrest Academy Cadence was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are 7-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's win bumped their record up to 19-16. As for Eldorado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
