Fairfield waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against Non Varsity Opponent by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Fairfield took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-10.

Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Fairfield will challenge Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harleton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Non Varsity Opponent and five for Harleton.
