Football Recap: O'Connor Eagles vs. Dobson Mustangs
O'Connor lost against Dobson back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The O'Connor Eagles took a 19-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dobson Mustangs.
A big part of Dobson's win came down to the chemistry between Mersades Torres and her top target Heaven Walker. Torres threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns while Walker picked up 55 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
O'Connor's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dobson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
O'Connor will welcome Cesar Chavez at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dobson, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-6 loss vs. Williams Field on the 26th.
