Basketball Recap: Rockmart Takes a Loss

Rockmart lost to Coahulla Creek back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Yellowjackets took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Colts are ranked 171st).

Rockmart has also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season. As for Coahulla Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11.

Rockmart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coahulla Creek, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ringgold at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
