Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winchester Thurston, Trinity Christian was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They secured a 38-32 W over the South Allegheny Gladiators. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 49-37 win the Gladiators walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for South Allegheny, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will host Propel Montour at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so Propel Montour's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for South Allegheny, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against East Allegheny at 7:00 p.m.
