Football Recap: Manual Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Manual had lost five straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-9 to make it six. They were outmatched by the Champaign Central Maroons and fell 55-16. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.

Tyree Porter threw for 80 yards on perfect 5-for-5 passing. On the ground, Amane Breedlove rushed for 44 yards and one TD.

As for Champaign Central, their win bumped their record up to 4-5. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 22 points or more this season.

Ziyir Aker was his usual excellent self, rushing for 310 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 113.1 rushing yards per game.

As of now, neither Manual nor Champaign Central have any future games scheduled.
