Volleyball Recap: Wauseon Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Wauseon and Lake squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Wauseon had to settle for second. They came up short against the Flyers, falling 3-0. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Flyers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, Wauseon saw an underclassman step up: freshman Halle Fogarty had nine digs.

Wauseon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Lake, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

Wauseon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake, after both having extra time off, they and Buckeye Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
