Basketball Recap: Quincy Comes Up Short

If Quincy was feeling good fresh off their 53-21 takedown of Maple Valley last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Quincy Orioles and the Bronson Vikings didn't end well, with the Quincy Orioles falling 59-40. While losing is never fun, the Orioles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Vikings are ranked 72nd).

Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Bronson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Looking ahead, Quincy will welcome Union City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bronson, they will head out to challenge Stockbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
