Mitchell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 74-34 loss at the hands of the Manitou Springs Mustangs. One positive for the Marauders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Manitou Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mitchell will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sand Creek at 7:15 p.m. on January 10, 2025. After both having extra time off, Manitou Springs and Rye will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
