Baseball Recap: Twelve Bridges Victorious

Twelve Bridges can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Nevada Union Miners.

Jackson Whitesides was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Twelve Bridges is 4-2 when Whitesides posts two or more runs, but 2-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarett Hackney, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI.

Twelve Bridges' record now sits at 6-8. As for Nevada Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Twelve Bridges will have a chance to go back-to-back against Nevada Union: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
