Volleyball Recap: Smith Center Redmen vs. Russell Broncos
Smith Center was the 2-0 winner over Russell when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Smith Center Redmen took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Russell Broncos on Tuesday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19.
Smith Center's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Russell, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Smith Center will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Phillipsburg at 7:00 p.m. on September 24th. As for Russell, they will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Trego, where is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
