 Scranton Prep won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune  on Monday. They suffered a  tough 13-1 loss at the hands of the Abington Heights Comets. Scranton Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Abington Heights apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in May of 2023.
 Scranton Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Zander Condeelis, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
 On Abington Heights' side,  Tate Pentasuglio was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Thomas LaCoe, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  RBI,  and a  double.
 Scranton Prep now  has a losing record at 1-2. As for Abington Heights, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
 Scranton Prep will head out on the road to  square off against  Valley View at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. One thing working in Valley View's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  every time they've taken the field this season. As for Abington Heights, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against West Scranton at 4:30  p.m.
