It was a good run, but Soroco unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plateau Valley Cowboys. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cowboys apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

While Soroco ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 20-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Kolbie Pierce paced Soroco's offense, picking up 21 kills. Pierce got some help from Makinly Long and her 32 assists. Finally, Pierce was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Soroco's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Plateau Valley, they pushed their record up to 21-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Soroco nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
