While losing is never fun, Stow-Munroe Falls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Brecksville-Broadview Heights is ranked 24th).
Even though Roosevelt has not done well against Copley recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Roosevelt came out on top against Copley by a score of 51-43.
Jaden Dennison was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 15 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Foreman, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Stow-Munroe Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Stow-Munroe Falls against Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 65-23 victory. With Stow-Munroe Falls ahead 30-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.
