The Aucilla Christian Warriors will square off against the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Aucilla Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-13 win over Central Florida Christian Academy. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Aucilla Christian can attribute much of their success to Landon La Rosa, who rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and Matthew Paul, who gained 101 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave La Rosa a new career-high in passer rating (174.5).
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Aucilla Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 329 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Another reason for the win was Aucilla Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Dalton McCormick, Ryan Williams, and Luke Kimmell, who each picked up one sack apiece. McCormick was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Mount Dora Christian Academy put their dominant defense on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Friday. They breezed past Eagle's View to the tune of 36-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Aucilla Christian better focus on containing Issac Farling and Noah Slegers as the pair were huge in Mount Dora Christian Academy's win. Farling rushed for 169 yards and three TDs on only seven carries, while Slegers rushed for 127 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.
Mount Dora Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Blake Banks.
Aucilla Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Aucilla Christian has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 164.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Mount Dora Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 327.4 rushing yards.
