Football Recap: ALA - Anthem South Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. John Paul II Catholic last Thursday, ALA - Anthem South came back down to earth. The Titans were dealt a 48-0 defeat at the hands of the Arete Prep CHARGERS on Friday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

Brady Rushing threw for 34 yards on eight of 16 attempts. Gabriel Fotu was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards. On the ground, Diego Godinez rushed for 33 yards.

ALA - Anthem South now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Arete Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-3.
