 Lawrence County stacked  a  seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They were the clear victor by  a  20-2 margin over the Floyd Central Jaguars. The  win was just business as usual For Lawrence County, who after seven games remain undefeated  this season.
  Taylor Blevins made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits (she also only allowed one  walk). Blevins has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Blevins was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Jada Patton was a standout: she went 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more  stolen bases the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Bree Jones, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  stolen base.
 Lawrence County's victory was  their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-0. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.5 runs per game. As for Floyd Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawrence County is on the road again  on Wednesday to play Dawson-Bryant at 6:00  p.m. Lawrence County's pitching crew has only allowed 0.4  runs per game  this season, so Dawson-Bryant's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Floyd Central, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Phelps at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
