Flag Football Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was the 19-8 winner over Shadow Hills when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves and the Knights were almost perfectly matched up on Wednesday, but the Wolves suffered a 20-19 loss. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Knights are ranked 62nd).

King now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Shadow Hills, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Coming up, King will challenge Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shadow Hills, they will face off against Valley View at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
